About Me

After graduating with an MFA in Digital Cinema from DePaul University in 2009, I co-founded the international production and distribution studio Digital Hydra. Our company evolved from commercial and music video projects to writing, creating, and producing feature length independent film and television content for U.S. and international markets.

During that time I have also compiled a number of screenwriting, producing, and cinematography credits as an independent artist. I have made films all over the United States, Europe, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. My work has been exhibited and awarded at a number of prestigious film festivals including Cannés International, the Chicago International Film Festival, SeriesFest, and the Austin Film Festival.

I am a lover of all things art, music, and story. My strengths lie in an extensive track record of creative collaboration, the ability to craft commercially viable products for a number of different audiences, and a strong sense of immersive and authentic visual storytelling.

I gravitate towards work that has a strong, relatable, human core and brings the viewer into a rich and textured mythology. From real life social drama to fantastical fictional worlds, the best stories leave us with a cathartic experience that speaks to the truths of human existence.

My most recent projects include the award-winning Public Housing Unit, the hit international series WaMahyaya, and the multi-award winning digital series Brothers from the Suburbs.
